To understand God's omniscience in your life, you need to turn to the Bible, the richest source of true information about God. According to Proverbs 15:3 and Hebrews 4:13, God can observe everything and can do whatever he wants anywhere.

In the Bible, it is taught that God is a person and lives in a specific place. God's appearance, according to John 4:24, is like a spirit. God is not visible to human eyes.

Visions of God in the Bible show that He inhabits a specific place. In this way, he can see and do things all over the world, but he is only in one place.

God's dwelling place is in the spiritual world, not on Earth or in the Universe, as described in 1 Kings 8:30. God has a residence in heaven. In Job 1:6, a time is described when angels stood before God in his fixed abode.

If God lives in a fixed location, how can he take care of you individually?

Although God has a fixed residence in the heavens and is only in one place, as a spirit invisible to human eyes, God can still hear and see all human beings, as well as intervene in situations in our lives. Understand the best ways to get God's attention:

  • When saying a prayer: According to According to the passage in 2 Chronicles 18:31, God will immediately pay more attention to you during a prayer. As much as He knows everything that is going on in your life, sometimes you need to get His attention in a way that demonstrates humility, resignation, obedience and faith in order to obtain His blessings.
  • When you need comfort: According to Psalm 34:18, God notices when the situation is too difficult for you, leaving you depressed and without the strength to change anything. God offers you relief so that you can get up again.
  • When you need guidance: According to Psalm 32:8, God gives instructions when you need them. Advice can come from anywhere, even if you're not looking for it.

The truths about God's omnipresence and omniscience

God is omniscient. This is an indisputable fact. This means that He can hear, know, see and interfere in all places, situations and people. However, God is not omnipresent. This means that He is not everywhere.

As has already been said, God is a spirit invisible to human eyes who inhabits a dwelling in the heavens. God does not live on Earth or in the Universe. Although God created the Universe, his dwelling place is elsewhere. Therefore, He is not omnipresent and He is not everywhere.

Another myth is that God can only be all-powerful if he is omnipresent, i.e. has the ability to be everywhere. This is erroneous.

God can, through his power (which is the Holy Spirit), see, hear, know and intervene in situations, people and events, without having to be physically everywhere.

How can you keep God's attention on you?

There are some good Christian practices that you can make habits in your life to have a better communion with God, keeping him close to you at all times, especially in difficult times.

1. Pray

By getting in direct contact with God through prayer, it's easier to establish communication with Him. In this way, God will be able to provide what you need for your requests, outbursts or even thanks.

2. Going to church

When two or more people are gathered in the name of God, He is there. This is a way of keeping your connection with God alive, strong, powerful and unshakeable.

And that's not all. Everyone else in the church will also benefit. This is because God considers that we are all part of a single universal family, with Him as our Father.

3. By doing activities that are well-liked, God can

By praying, attending church, doing good to others or other activities that are welcomed by God and guided through the Bible, there is a greater connection between you and God.

So invest in activities that God has directed all human beings to do. This includes forgiving, asking for forgiveness, loving your neighbor with yourself, loving yourself, repenting when you commit a sin, among other Christian and healthy practices.
